“ Hot Dogs! Adorable little dinner setting with excellent hot dogs prepared how you like em! There's more than just dogs too! Not to mention the ladies behind the counter are fun and friendly and a little sassy too! So stop in and get yourself something from an eatery that's been going strong since 1908!! ”

“ If you are looking for a historic, no frills and affordable experience (or specifically for a hotdog) then this is your spot. Right by the park, this family-owned business just celebrated 50 years under the current family leadership who's grandfather opened the original stand in the same location in 1908, later becoming the original permanent structure that is there today. You will most definitely meet the family when you visit. They have Hotdogs (the red ones) with a variety of toppings including, chilli dogs, burgers of a few kinds with toppings and combo meals, fried chicken and fish sandwiches (quick diner kind), regular sandwiches like grilled chees, ham and cheese, etc., hand cut fries (the day I went - in pics I see the frozen kind have been used too), big onion rings (hey! you get to choose either or both), and a full breakfast menu, with daily sweets (looked like peanut butter cup cupcakes when I visited) and specials. Wednesday's is a steamed dog for 1.50 a piece, I believe. Simones' offers soups, salads and more too (I didn't try on this visit). But most come here for the breakfast and the hotdogs, and the price. Sit at the counter to watch the action, grab a table or take it to go. Drinks are grab-n-go from the cooler. This is a family-run business that is a part of the community it serves. Sign the guest book and see who else has visited. ”
“ One of the best places to grab a quick bite to eat. The prices are great and the food is so awesome. It's American comfort food and is absolutely worth checking out. ”
“ Family-owned and operated for over 100 years. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and so did my Pepere (grandfather). The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old French-Canadian diner. The space is a tad cramped, but that's part of the charm. Don't forget to say hi to Jimmy, Linda, and George! ”
“ A quintessential Maine experience! ”
